Q: What is purpose of the College Prep Camp?
A:
This camp will briefly cover those items covered at the College Soccer Training Center. This camp is perfect for those who can't attend the College Soccer Training Center because of previous commitments or who want to get an idea of what the College Soccer Training Center holds if you are already attending.

Q: Who are the coaches?
A:
The coaches on staff will be the Northwestern Coaching Staff, area coaches and several of the players on the team. Various coaches will be invited to attend and observe the training.

Q: What about a recruiting seminar listed on the schedule?
A:
The Northwestern University staff will go over some of the "do's" and "don'ts" of the recruiting process and hopefully give you a head start on your soccer career.

Q: What about a weight training seminar, will the players lift weights?
A:
One of our strength and conditioning coaches will give a brief overview of the type of weight training we do at Northwestern. The players themselves will not lift weights but demonstrations will be given as to the proper form to use. Most of the emphasis will focus on "CORE" training and soccer specific training as opposed to lifting for size.

Q: What will be covered in the fitness training seminar?
A:
Some of the latest soccer specific training for speed will be used. In addition, we will show specific training using the Heart Rate Monitor and provide an evaluation and breakdown of specific heart rates used during training.
