Q: What is the purpose of the Prep Camp?
A: This camp will briefly run players through the same training and match play utilized at the College Soccer Training Center. This camp is perfect for those who can't attend the College Soccer Training Center because of previous commitments or for those who want to get an idea of what the College Soccer Training Center holds if you are already attending.
Q: Who are the coaches?
A: The Northwestern Coaching Staff and
numerous NU players will make up the College Prep Camp staff. Coaches from
local colleges are invited to attend and several will likely observe the
duration of the camp.
Q: What is entailed in the scheduled seminar?
A: The topic of this seminar varies
from camp to camp. The staff will go over some of the "do's" and
"don'ts" of the recruiting process or discuss different
fitness/conditioning methods that are utilized to make a better soccer
player. This information will give you a head start on your college soccer
career.
Q: When is there a snack break?
A: During the seminar, participants
will have the chance to consume whatever snacks they have brought. Water
will be available, but players are encouraged to bring a light sandwich or
snack to refuel midway through the camp.
Camp is open to any and all males from grades 9 and up. Camp registration will be limited to 100 participants.
